Dedicated and Experienced

The first stage of creating a great staff team is to have a management team of senior staff who can communicate well together and inspire each other. We are a constant support to each other, working and learning new skills by accessing training or by courses from recognised training centres.

Parents and carers are encouraged at the George Eliot to have as much involvement with the day to day care of the children as much as possible. We develop good relationships with our parents in providing useful information across the nursery, discussing each child’s needs and requirements and having personal preference forms on each child.

The children are each allocated a family worker who will be introduced to parents as the main member of staff recoding and observing their child for the purpose of individual planning.

Festivals, special events and cultural celebrations form an integral part of how we ensure everyone feels represented within our nursery and we all enjoy learning about these special days.

As a group of people we have worked together for many years and have between us many years of experience, both in education and life experience. The management team of the George Eliot draws together all of our skills and enables us to take the company forward and to train and inspire others.

It is our unique hands on approach that sets us apart from our competition. Our attention to detail and commitment and loyalty to the George Eliot means that our customers and staff team stay with us for many years.

Our staff team are chosen for their spirit, enthusiasm and dedication as well as their qualifications. As we are a Quality Counts setting, parents value our continued self improvement and higher levels of qualifications required by the National Standards.
