Home from Home Environment

Our baby sections are designed to recreate the home environment with cosy areas and soothing classical music to welcome you whilst our tots areas have more space for eager toddlers to develop important skills like walking, climbing and getting messy. We are keen to promote the use of natural resources and heuristic play both inside and outside and our children love to explore sand, water, paints and glue and the diverse opportunities Active World play offers.

Our Two Year Old Sections are equipped with the latest in play and equipment and developed in line with the ITERS guidelines. Children are given daily opportunities to take part in building and construction, creative play and many other stimulating activities.

The pre school section offers an ideal learning environment for children to develop important skills before they leave for school. The Early Years Foundation Stage provides the platform for us to develop our learning environments for the children and we work closely with other Early Years Professionals in developing our service.

The MYPLACE area is dedicated to children aged from 5 to 12 years old and has been designed by our members to reflect their personality and interests. This is a very popular service we offer mainly due to the varied activities and outings we take part in, for example kids kickboxing, horse riding, cinema trips, bowling and visits to museums.
